Based on the true story of Malaysian Paralympic badminton champion Cheah Liek Hou, a badminton player with both talent and determination, who faces challenges early in life when he is diagnosed with Erb's Palsy. Despite this, he perseveres and becomes an 11-time para badminton world champion. After years of waiting, para-badminton is finally listed as a medal sport in the Paralympics, his dream of winning gold is reignited. With the help of Malaysian legend Datuk Rashid Sidek, Cheah secures Malaysia's first-ever Paralympic gold medal in badminton, creating a historic moment for the country. Starring award-winning actor Jack Tan, the film also delves into themes of identity, family, and the challenges faced by Malaysian athletes.

Director | Adrian Teh

Adrian Teh, director, producer, and writer, has redefined Malaysian film industry. Beginning his career in Chinese films, he made history by founding the Chinese Film Association of Malaysia in 2012 and launching the Golden Wau Awards in 2013. Honored as one of Malaysia’s Top 10 Outstanding Youths and among the 100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneurs in 2016, Teh is a force to be reckoned with in the industry.


A trailblazer in the military action genre, he sets the highest box office record with MALBATT: Misi Bakara (2023) and second-highest box office record with PASKAL The Movie. His contributions earned him the prestigious Artistic Expression Icon Award from National Film Development Corporation (FINAS) in 2022. Continuing to push boundaries, Teh explores diverse genres, crafting stories that captivate audiences.
